“Subs” Wish List….. Solved

Wished they didn’t taste like Orange Gasoline or worse — Ours are flavored like watermelon, strawberry bubblegum, black cherry, and many more flavors based on strength. Not Halloween-candy good. They just don’t suck.

Wished they didn’t cost so much (at the pharmacy, not the street) — Ours are $3 or less for combo (with naloxone), $2 or less for plain buprenorphine. We cannot take insurance, but this will not be part of your permanent medical record.

Wished I wasn’t judged by the pharmacy staff — Dr Steve (pharmacist at Thrive) has been sober since 1990. We are here to encourage your journey. Call and speak to him and be astounded at the kindness.

Wished I could eventually get off of them — We compound troches in 12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0.75, 0.5, 0.25, with and without naloxone and helped many to taper off without feeling crazy in the process. We have made hundreds of thousands and in our 5th year of being open.

Wished I could split them or cut them — Looking like “Barbie confetti” or crumbled powder isn’t actual dosing science. The companies know this and clearly say not to split. See above, we got you covered.

Wished I didn’t have to drive all around looking to see who has my meds — We always have supply, and will ship (UPS for a $19 fee, with signature required) directly to your house or access point for “mostly next day” anywhere in Florida.

Wished my “friends” didn’t try and sell, snort, or inject my medication — Our “troches” look like small “Starburst” candies. Ridiculous to try and snort or inject. Saying nothing about known street value…. Keep your meds to yourself and heal.

Wished there was less naloxone as I don’t feel good with it — We use 0.6mg naloxone, NOT 2mg or 3mg. This cuts down 99% of complaints with the naloxone. And with what is out there on the street, no amount in a strip will help with relapse and not dying, so maxing this out will only make you feel worse.

Wished I had more energy now that I quit that other stuff — Dr Steve invented sublingual caffeine in 75+ flavors (www.caffeinemelts.com). May be a great combination to help you be your best self and get through the day. Ask when you call or go on-line.

Wished my subs worked for pain — Wait… didn’t you know they do for Chronic Pain? 8mg buprenorphine is equal to about 120mg of morphine for pain. Also being studied for depression. So, “3 in one” super cool.
